Salary:                Up to £24,375.00 per annum

Hours:                 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract:           Permanent, Term Time Only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator to join our close-knit team at Westbourne School located in Sutton in Ashfield, part of Acorn Education.

About the role

As the Facilities Coordinator you will contribute to the growth and development of our School and will lead on the delivery of providing a warm, safe, and secure environment in which all learners are able to thrive.

This is a great opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator who wants to influence the outcomes for students’ various needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in as many decisions as possible.

The successful candidate must have site experience, along with knowledge of building regulations and health and safety policies and procedures. You will be able to respond to emergency situations in a calm and rational manner and be able to work as part of a team and independently.

About the school

Westbourne School caters for pupils aged 11-18 and we are growing to 85 pupils across two sites. You will be responsible for planning and delivering various subjects across the curriculum. Differentiation and individualised learning strategies are vital skills required to meet the needs of all our pupils who will have had varying degrees of success in their educational lives.
