Are you an innovative Headteacher committed to improving the lives of pupils and young people?

We are looking for a Headteacher for our New Options School - Trimdon Hill School in Durham. The school will have capacity for 40 pupils and is due to open in June 2025. We're recruiting for a Headteacher to help set up and grow our new school. 

Our New Options School will cater for pupils with a variety of needs including Autism. 

Location:            Trimdon Hill, Durham

Salary:                Up to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience

Hours:                Monday to Friday

Contract:            Permanent, 52 weeks per year

**Essential: **Must hold Full UK Driving Licence and have access to own vehicle - you will receive a fuel allowance to cover the cost

Are you a Facilities Manager looking to develop in a position that you can truly make a difference? 

We are looking for a responsible, hands-on Facilities Manager to join our fantastic team at our Brand-New School, Trimdon Hill School in Durham. As Facilities Manager, you will help support our pupils and young people in their daily lives, by ensuring our sites are well maintained and equipped to meet their needs.

This is a great opportunity to work as part of a team committed to helping pupils with varied and complex needs. You will take pride in maintaining our school, from day-to-day repairs to completing risk assessments, carrying out security procedures, checking equipment and contributing to school development projects.

For many of our pupils, consistency is key, and our Facilities Manager take time to make sure everything is as it should be for us to run smoothly and safely.

Previous experience in a similar setting would be great but isn’t essential as full training will be given, and the right DIY skills, motivation, and personal qualities are just as important. These roles are ideal for people with skills in maintenance, DIY and health and safety, looking for a new role that makes a real difference to pupils’ lives and futures.
