Role: Children’s Residential Support Worker
Salary: £9.52 per hour, increasing to £9.70 per hour, once qualified
Plus, a minimum of £2,475.00 per annum sleep in allowance (based on min 55 sleeps per year) and up to an additional £1,500* per annum travel allowance
Contract: Full Time; Permanent

About the Home:
Acorn Education and Care are recruiting Children’s Care Workers to join our teams within the Hampshire region. Our registered independent children’s homes offer residential care for children & young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH).
Each of our homes are within commutable distance from Reading, Newbury, Bracknell and other surrounding towns and villages.

What we need from you:
· Full and valid UK Driving Licence
· Access to a car
· Right to Work in the UK
· Willing to work towards a funded Level 4 Apprenticeship for Children Young People and Families Practitioner
· Passionate about caring for young adults, and to support them to reach their full potential
