Job Title: Therapy Assistant
Location: Belmont Secondary, Rawtenstall
Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time (52 weeks)
Salary: Up to £20,000 per annum

The role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our North West Hub as a member of a multi-disciplinary team including Speech and Language Therapy/Occupational Therapy and Psychological Therapies. The role will cover multiple sites in a geographical operating region across care and education. You will be supporting the delivery of high quality educational and clinical provision within the residential home and school by working as an assistant under supervision of a qualified practitioner. Based at Belmont Secondary School, the post holder will progress specific therapeutic interventions where the needs of the young people vary in levels of functioning, many with a diagnosis of autism as well as associated needs such as complex and developmental trauma. Needs are complex and require a systemic and formulation-based approach. More information about both sites are accessible by the links below:

Essential Criteria
• Minimum of 5 GCSE passes including English at Grade C and above
• Evidence of relevant post 16 education
• Willingness to work towards further qualifications as required
