Job Title: Residential Childcare Assistant
Salary: Up to £27,000.00 inclusive of sleep ins, Cost of Living, and Travel Allowance (based on 55 sleeps per annum)
Location: Chipping Norton
Contract: Full Time; Permanent
Essential: A full driving licence, and the Right to Work in the UK

Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting Children Care Workers to join our teams within the Oxford area. Our registered independent homes offer residential care for vulnerable children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.
Each of our homes are within commutable distance from Chipping Norton, North Aston, Middle Barton, Kidlington, Oxford, Bicester, Aylesbury and other surrounding towns and villages.
Contracts available – Full Time
Who we are looking for:
- People with a big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives
- Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging
- Be patient, resilient and calming
- Become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs
- Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care, by working towards a funded qualification in Level 4 Apprenticeship for Children Young People and Families Practitioner (if you do not currently hold this or equivalent)
