Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Location: Mountfield Heath School

Salary: £25,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week

Contract: Permanent, 44.6wks per annum

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our clinical division covering education at Mountfield heath school in Robertsbridge. Working collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our children and young people with developmental trauma, autism, ADHD, complex and SEMH needs

About the role:

Based at Mountfield heath school, you will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy. Undertaking all aspects of Occupational Therapy clinical duties, you will adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out individual assessments and interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports. In addition, you will provide information and training to staff..

Location: Mountfield Heath School, Robertsbridge- Mountfield Heath School is a new independent special educational needs provision, for 32 pupils aged 5-12. The successful candidate will support our teachers working alongside other support staff and therapists, to deliver the curriculum and help nurture a therapeutic environment to meet a range of needs including social, emotional, behavioural, communication and learning difficulties.

Essential Criteria:

  • Recognised and relevant Occupational Therapist degree
  • Valid and up to date HCPC registration
  • Driving licence and access to vehicle (Desirable)
  • Experience working with Children and Young People
  • Experience of working within an educational setting would be advantageous
  • Sensory Integration qualification (Preferred)
