Role: Senior Residential Support Worker
Salary: Up to £29.198.00 per annum, including annual sleep in allowance and dependant on experience plus welcome bonus of £500 and **another £500 once you pass your probation (minimum six months)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
Essential: A full driving licence, and the Right to Work in the UK

Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting Senior Residential Support Workers to join our teams within the Flintshire region.
Our registered independent homes offer residential care for vulnerable children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.
The home is based in Llanymynech and is within commuting distance from Oswestry, Welshpool, Chester. Ellesmere and surrounds
Our residential homes are friendly and fun, and though there are challenges too, everything we do is dedicated to creating rewarding experiences – for those we look after and for everyone in our team!
Our next Senior Residential Support Worker will be someone who has:
- Mandatory: Level 4 Apprenticeship for Children Young People and Families Practitioner qualified or NVQ equivalent.
- At least 1 year’s hands on experience in a similar residential environment.
- A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives.
- Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging.
- Patience, resilience, and calmness.
- Become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs.
- Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care.
