Role: Deputy Home Manager

Location: Hayling Island, Hampshire

Salary: From £30,507.90 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week; with some flexibility needed 

Contract: Permanent

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join our fantastic team at Poppy Lodge. As the Deputy Manager, you will support our Registered Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the home, helping our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

Our Deputy Managers help to ensure our care teams have the structure, resources and motivation needed to provide the individual, bespoke, support required by the children and young people in our care. Alongside the Registered Manager, you will deliver efficient management, delivery, and development of our residential SEMH service, ensuring the highest quality of care and support is consistently given

Already a Deputy Manager or with previous management experience in a similar 24/7 ASC care setting with ambition to progress, you will bring the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience to ensure a caring, structured service that provides a calm, homely environment.

Qualified in Level 3 Diploma Care Leadership and Management, you will be a calm, engaging, resilient leader able to motivate your team to provide a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.

Poppy Lodge is an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ registered 7 bed, boys residential home for children and young people aged 10-18 years with Social, Emotional and Mental health difficulties. The residential home is located near Portsmouth, within close proximity to the beach, and offers a therapeutic model of care to our residents which is designed to provide an enriching and positive environment. Poppy Lodge is supported by a specialist independent Ofsted registered school that provides our residents a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum to support their personal and academic needs. Located in South Hampshire we are within commutable distance of Waterlooville, Gosport, Chichester, Bognor Regis, Fareham, Southampton and other surrounding towns and villages.
