Job Title: Children’s Care Worker
Salary: Up to £23,249.20 plus sleep in payments
Location: Oakham
Contract: Full Time; Permanent
Hours: 42.5 hours per week - Term Time Only
Essential: A full driving licence, and the Right to Work in the UK

Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting Children Care Workers to join our team at Grange Therapeutic School.
The Grange Therapeutic School are specialist provision for boys and girls with Education Health Care Plans for social emotional and mental needs aged 8-18. We are situated in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside, with close access to major roads, in a Victorian country house. We have with fantastic facilities to develop not only the educational, but also the social and emotional needs of our pupils. With access to woods and lakes on site, the school has an ethos about delivering a personalised curriculum tailored to and driven by the individuals.
This home is based in Oakham, and is within commuting distance from Peterborough, Leicester, Corby, Oakham, Knossington and surrounds.

· Become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs
· Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care, by working towards a funded qualification in Level 4 Apprenticeship for Children Young People and Families Practitioner (if you do not currently hold this or equivalent)
