We are looking for an experienced School Administrator for Meadows View School in Stamford, Lincolnshire. 

  • Up to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience (not pro rata) 
  • 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday
  • Permanent, Term Time only
  • UK applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship.

About the role

Working closely with the SLT you will be providing excellent administrative and customer services to a variety of stakeholders, establishing and maintaining efficient administrative systems and processes to support the effective running of the school with a focus on operational excellence and to meet the current and future needs of the school.

Responsibilities 

  • To provide an effective, timely and confidential administration support to staff and managers as required 
  • To ensure that relevant records and documents are kept up to date and are stored securely and confidentially at all times 
  • To respond timely and with flexibility to urgent or last-minute staff/school requirements as a service providing function of the school 
  • To support other colleagues with work that requires extra members of staff to complete the tasks 
  • Ensure awareness that the school operates to agreed budgets and contribute to keeping within these budgets as instructed 
  • Exercise vigilance in respect of Health and Safety and promptly report all hazards and/or remedy them where appropriate. Undertake all duties in a manner calculated to minimise or avoid unnecessary risks, personally or to others 
  • Operate at all times in accordance with Company policies and procedures, with particular reference to Safeguarding, Adult/Child Protection, Complaints and Representations and Behaviour Policies

Essential

  • GCSE or equivalent 
  • Experience working in a school environment
  • Strong administration and communication skills
  • System experience (highly desirable)
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Our New Options Autism School is a specialist school which will cater for young people aged 5-11 with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs. The school will have capacity for 25 pupils and is due to open in Easter 2025.

For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
