Job Title: Secondary Subjects Teacher
Location: Closeburn House School, Closeburn, Dumfries
Salary: £27,498 to £41,412 per annum (Scottish National Pay Scales)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Are you a Secondary Teacher with a General Teaching Council for Scotland Certificate who is committed to improving the lives of children and young people?
We are looking for Secondary Teacher with GTCS accreditation to join our fantastic team at Closeburn House School in Dumfries. As a Secondary Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.
This is a great opportunity for a Secondary Teacher who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunities for children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.
Educated to degree level and/or of Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.
