Job Title: Safeguarding Lead/Family Liaison Officer
Location: Wetheringsett Manor, Suffolk
Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent; term time only

We are looking for an experienced Safeguarding Lead/Family Liaison Officer to join our fantastic team at Wetheringsett Manor, Suffolk.
As the Safeguarding Lead/Family Liaison Officer you will provide a range of support to our students and their families. You will work directly with parents in a non-judgmental way, empowering them and their families to get the most out of the educational opportunities at Wetheringsett manor school.
You will have the ability to offer calm, appropriate and supportive advice to ensure the highest level of support for our children and families in line with the expectations and ethos of our school.
You will work as part of the safeguarding, pastoral and behaviour team and support families with parenting, attendance, safeguarding and school issues.
About us
Wetheringsett Manor School is a new independent day SEMH School for up to 42 pupils aged 11-18. Our dedicated team work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.
Wetheringsett Manor School site is going through significant refurbishment and is based in Suffolk, East Anglia. The Manor House is in 17 acres of parkland with wooded boundaries and sits on the edge of the village of Wetheringsett. The accommodation also provides several other buildings including a converted stable block, a cottage and two industrial units.

Socially, we build confidence in our students, so they can have a greater understanding of the wider community in which they live.
