Salary: Up to £40,000 dependent on experience
Hours: 37.5 per week
Contract: Permanent
Location: Holistic Childcare and Education, Lochmaben, Dumfriesshire

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to join our fantastic team at Holistic Childcare and Education, based in Dumfriesshire, Scotland. As the Registered Manager you will ensure the smooth operation of the home, helping our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a setting where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where children and young people are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.
You will deliver efficient management, delivery, and development of our residential learning disabilities / complex needs service, ensuring the highest quality of care and support is consistently given.

The successful candidate will effectively manage the small care team to achieve the best outcomes for our residents, whilst providing a safe and secure environment and maintaining Care Inspectorate and Health and Social Care Standards.
SVQ 4 children and young people plus SVQ 4 Leadership and Management or above (or working towards it), you will be a calm, engaging, resilient leader able to motivate your team to provide a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.
About the School
Holistic Childcare and Education consists of two homes, Closeburn House and Maben House.
Closeburn House is an eleven bed registered Children’s home, supporting Children and Young People from the ages of 10 – 16 years. Maben House is a ten bed registered Children’s home, supporting Children and Young People from the ages of 6 – 16 years.
Both homes are dedicated to build incredible futures by giving the Children and Young People opportunities, developing their life skills and personal interests.
