Options Autism are looking for a Registered Manager in the Lochmaben area!

Role: Children’s Home Registered Manager

Salary: Up to £40,000.00 per annum (dependent on experience/qualifications)

Hours: Full-time, Permanent (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, with on call responsibilities)

Location: Lochmaben, Dumfriesshire

The Location

Holistic Childcare and Education consists of two accommodations, Closeburn House and Maben House. Maben House is a ten bed registered service, supporting individuals from the ages of 6 – 16 years. We are dedicated to build incredible futures by giving the Young People opportunities, developing their life skills and personal interests.

The accommodation is within commutable distance from Dumfries, Lockerbie and other surrounding towns and villages.

Our services are friendly and fun, and though there are challenges too, everything we do is dedicated to creating rewarding experiences – for those we look after and for everyone in our team!

The Opportunity

Our next Registered Manager will be someone who has: 

  • Mandatory: SVQ 4 Children and Young People plus SVQ 4 Leadership and Management or above (or working towards it)
  • Extensive experience of working in a residential setting
  • High level of working knowledge of relevant legislation such as Children’s Act and Quality Care Standards
  • Experience of leading and motivating teams
  • Ability to effectively train individuals and groups
