Full Job Description
Acorn Education are hiring a Deputy Manager in the Shrewsbury region!
Role: Care Deputy Manager
Salary: Up to Up to £34.000.00 per annum (dependant on experience and qualification) + £1,000 Home Allowance
Hours: Full Time, Permanent (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm)
Location: Bicton, Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Essential: A Full UK Driving License and the Right to Work in the UK

Our next Deputy Manager will be someone who has:
- Mandatory: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- Mandatory: Experience of working in a residential childcare setting
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation such as Children’s Act and Quality Care Standards
- Experience of leading and motivating teams
- Ability to effectively train individuals and groups

Calcott is a 4 bed registered accommodation. We support Young People to build incredible futures by giving them opportunities, developing their life skills and personal interests.
This home is within commutable distance from Shrewsbury, Telford, Cannock, Market Drayton, Bridgnorth and surrounds.
