As a talented and ambitious Data Scientist joining our team, you will:
- Have a passion for achieving transformational outcomes for our clients through the application of data science in a collaborative environment.
- A track record of delivering successful outcomes through data science
- A strong commercial data science background in building and operating models in real business contexts
- Deep experience with a modern data language (e.g. Python, R, Julia)
- An excellent understanding of statistical methods and modelling.
- Familiarity with hyper cloud computing ecosystems (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience of integrating structured and non-structured data from a range of rich data sources
- Able to work under pressure and to short deadlines with a clear sense of priority within a fast-paced and agile environment.
- Excellent work planning capabilities and time management skills
- Ability to balance conflicting deadlines and priorities.

About the Business Intelligence Function
The business intelligence function is dedicated to extracting actionable insights from data to guide strategic decisions. Utilising advanced analytics and reporting tools, it transforms raw data into meaningful information, helping OFG understand key trends and behaviours as well as improving and operational efficiency.
The team is made up of highly skilled professionals who interpret complex datasets, identify patterns, and provide valuable reports to support data-driven decision-making. At OFG, the BI Team are crucial for enhancing efficiency, optimising processes, and gaining a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving business landscape.
