Options Autism are hiring Care Assistants in the Melton Mowbray region!
Role: Care Assistant
Salary: Up to £28,420.00 per annum inclusive of 8 sleep ins payments per month
Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week, varied shift patterns)
Location: Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire

The Opportunity
Our next Care Assistant will be someone who has:
- A big heart and passion to make a difference to the occupants’ lives.

Some of your duties would include:
- Creating fun and fulfilling days with occupants to enjoy and explore their hobbies.
- Supporting individuals to develop independent life skills
- Safeguarding of occupants at all times
- Assisting and transporting occupants to activities and hobbies
- Accurate record keeping
The Location
Little Acre is registered for 8 young people aged between 5 and 18. We provide care for young people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. Little Acre specialises in care for those with complex health needs including gastrostomy, oxygen, ventilation, saturations and a wide range of complex health conditions including epilepsy, cerebral palsy and complex respiratory conditions. We also cater for young people with learning disabilities such as Global Developmental Delay, Autism and Asperger’s.
Based within the pleasant, highly sought-after area of Hickling Pastures, Little Acre is ideally suited for children and young people. It is a rural location but is easily accessible to schools, colleges and key locations across the city of Nottingham and Leicester.
Options Autism is a national provider of specialist education, care and therapeutic services for individuals with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. We provide a person-centred approach to education and support, looking at the full needs of the individual and adapting our approach accordingly.
