Job title: Premises Supervisor
Location: Westbourne School, Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £22,425 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday (Part-Time considered/flexible starting times)
Contract: Permanent, Full time 52 weeks
Due to growth in service, we are looking for an experienced Premises Supervisor to join our fantastic team at Westbourne School.
Job Purpose
To pro-actively keep the school’s estate at a high state of repair.
Key Result Areas
- Maintain both school grounds and buildings to high standards.
- Provide the school with a safe environment for all people – pupils, staff, visitors, and contractors.
Responsibilities
- To be responsible for any painting/decorating work around the school’s estate.
- Ensure pro-active maintenance is carried out daily.
- Ensure reactive maintenance is dealt with in a timely and safe manner.
- Help to supervise major schemes of work carried out by external contractors.
- Always ensure the Health and Safety of all on site by helping to manage the School’s Health and Safety procedures including the reporting of incidents as appropriate.
- Help to prepare decorating schedules with the Estate Manager.
- Report damage to the Estates Manager.
- To carry out any relative works that the Estate Manager deems appropriate.
