Job Title:         Finance and Administration Assistant

Location:         Heath Farm School, Charing Heath, Ashford

Salary:             £18,756.50 per annum

Hours:             35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 

Contract:         Permanent, Term Time plus 2 weeks

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance and Administration Assistant to join our close-knit team. 

Job Purpose

The post holder will work as a member of the Administration Team and assist the School Business Manager with duties relating to finance and human resources. 

  • Good administrative skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Be highly efficient and organised.
  • Be articulate and able to deal sensitively with a variety of situations with suppliers and school staff. 
  • Have the ability to be clear and assertive whilst remaining calm and composed in a variety of situations.
  • Be flexible to switch between roles when necessary.

Essential

  • Minimum of 3 GCSE’s or equivalent.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexible and approachable.
  • Ability to deal sensitively with people and help to resolve conflict.
  • Adaptability.
  • Able to support pupils in their learning.
  • Enthusiastic about new experiences / situations.
  • Finance experience preferred, but not essential.
