Position: SENCO
Location: Reddish Hall School, Stockport, Greater Manchester
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications
Contract: Permanent; Term Time Only

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a SENCO to join our close-knit team at Reddish Hall School located in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
About the role
- Under the reasonable direction of the Head Teacher and Assistant Head of SEND, carry out the professional duties of a SENCo as outlined in this job description.
- To contribute to raising standards of student attainment. To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
- To develop and enhance the teaching practice of others.
- To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a SENCo within the school.
Essential
- MUST have UK QTS.
Duties of the SENCo
- To oversee the day to day operation of the school’s SEND policy.
- To answer requests for advice from teachers.
- To co-ordinate provision, including liaison with all teachers involved.
- To maintain records of relevant information for all pupils with special needs.
- To establish and contribute to SEND inset and staff training.
- To liaise with external agencies.

Reddish Hall is an independent SEMH school situated in Stockport, meeting the needs of students with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The aim of the school is to encourage pupils to achieve and succeed personally, academically, socially and develop their self confidence that will enable them to cope in everyday situations and manage the transition from school to college or work environments. By rebuilding self-esteem and forging positive relationships, our pupils replace failure with success.
Reddish Hall School is based in Reddish, Stockport. The school is commutable from Manchester, Stockport and Surrounding areas.
