Full Job Description
Join us to receive a £1000 Welcome Bonus, split between £500 after 1 months service and a further £500 after 6 months.
Acorn Education are hiring Residential Childcare Workers in Cornwall.
Role: Residential Childcare Worker
Salary: £23,920.00 per annum (plus Sleep-in payments of £45 per night)
Hours: Permanent, 40 hours a week
Location: Truro, Cornwall
Essential: A Full UK Driving Licence and the Right to Work in the UK

We are seeking a passionate and big hearted Residential Childcare Worker to play a key role in our young people’s residential accommodation. If you have a background in childcare, patience, resilience, and calmness, plus a commitment to creating a nurturing environment, we want to hear from you!
Role Overview
As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will work closely with the young people who we support to enrich their lives. Your responsibilities will include supporting young people to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out, engage our young people in tasks and activities, undertaking household tasks and complete relevant paperwork.
What We're Looking For
- Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle required
