Job Title: Farm/Animal Worker
Location: Wessex Lodge School, Maiden Bradley, Wiltshire
Salary: from £11.50 per hour
Hours: Weekends and school holidays only
Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks - Job share considered.
UK applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship.
As a farm hand you'll oversee the day-to-day care of a range of animals on the farm. Welfare checks, feeding, watering and enclosure maintenance. The job will include separate morning and afternoon routines to ensure the animals wellbeing is top priority.
Candidates must be able to drive due to the rural location, and over 18 years, due to the lone working policy.

Wessex Lodge School currently comprises of two sites: Wessex Lodge School located in Frome, and Newmead Farm, located in Maiden Bradley. Both sites allow students the opportunity to explore the curriculum alongside a range of subject paths, including the likes of, animal care, horticulture, DT, and forest school, as well as sporting activities.
Our students are aged between 8 and 18 years old. Each student has individual needs and, supported by the THRIVE approach, through a proven range of practitioner-led services and our talented staff, we can help to improve life outcomes for every student.
