- Title: Geography Teacher
- Location: Lamledge School, Shifnal, Shropshire
- Salary: Up to £41,000 per annum dependent on experience
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

We are seeking a passionate and versatile Geography Teacher with expertise in History and Religious Education (RE) to join our dedicated team at Lamledge School. This unique opportunity allows for the enrichment of students' understanding across multiple disciplines and fosters a comprehensive educational experience.
Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging and interactive Geography classes to students, incorporating a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Develop and implement curriculum plans and instructional materials for Geography, ensuring alignment with educational standards and objectives.
- Assume teaching responsibilities for History courses, delivering engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, historical analysis, and an appreciation for the past.
- Lead Religious Education (RE) classes, guiding students in exploring religious traditions, ethical principles, and moral values within a multicultural context.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect, empathy, and appreciation for cultural diversity.
- Assess student progress through a variety of methods, including exams, projects, presentations, and class participation, providing constructive feedback to support growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches and cross-curricular connections that enhance students' understanding of the interconnectedness of geography, history, and religious studies.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay abreast of educational trends.

We are within a commutable distance of Telford, Dudley, Stourbridge, Shrewsbury, Stone, Walsall, Wolverhampton and surrounding towns.
