Job Title: Senior Behaviour Support Worker
Location: Glebedale School, Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students? Do you have experience in behaviour support and thrive in a school environment? We're looking for a dedicated Senior Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at Glebedale School.
About the role
As a Senior Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behaviour and supporting students with behavioural challenges. Working closely with teachers, counsellors, and other professionals, you will develop and implement personalised behaviour support plans to meet the individual needs of our students. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing one-on-one support, conducting assessments, and offering consultations to our staff.
Qualifications:
- GCSE level 4 + in Maths and English
- Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably in a behaviour support role.
- Strong understanding of behavioural principles and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Crisis intervention training and certification preferred.

Glebedale School is a special needs school which provides provision for boys and girls aged 7 years and upwards. We provide a nurturing and welcoming environment to SEMH pupils, and our curriculum has a keen focus on therapy, education and personal development. Our school aims to help pupils grow academically, socially and emotionally to enable them to become capable future citizens.
We provide education to 30 pupils from the Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire and Cheshire areas. At our last Ofsted in December 2022, we were rated “Good”.

*You’ll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay, giving you more time to do the things that make you happy. We aim for all of our schools to join 4DWW by September and is currently subject to location.
