Acorn Education are currently hiring a Deputy Team Leader in the Suffolk region!
Role: Deputy Team Leader
Salary: £24,848.14 per annum
Hours: Full-time; Permanent (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)

The Opportunity
Our next Deputy Team Leader will be someone who has:
- Level 3 / 4 Diploma in Childcare (or currently working towards)
- Designated Safeguarding Lead Trained (or willingness to undertake responsibility)
- Experience of working in a similar setting
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation
- Experience of leading and motivating teams
- Ability to effectively train individuals and groups
Some of your regular duties will include:
- Promote and actively encourage the delivery of a safe, structured and nurturing environment taking account of equality of opportunity.
- Ensure the health, safety and well-being of the young people is of paramount importance at all times.
- Oversee, supervise and develop the skills of staff in their daily working practice.
- Ensure staff are aware of and deliver the support required to ensure the life chance opportunities of the young people are met in relation to their social, educational, leisure, emotional, physical and cultural needs.
The Location
Bramfield House School is an independent residential special educational needs school for boys aged 7 – 16 years who have social, emotional, mental health, communication difficulties and associated challenging behaviours, located in rural Suffolk. The school has a committed and innovative multidisciplinary team, extensive site and excellent facilities to support both learning and extra-curricular activities; we are in a great position to provide our pupils with the best education and care possible.
This opportunity is in Halesworth which is within commutable distance of Lowestoft, Diss and surrounding areas.
