Job Title:          SEN Teacher 

Location:          Bower Lodge School, Dibden, Southampton

Salary:              Up to £45,000 per annum

Hours:              37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract:          Permanent, Term Time only

We are looking for experienced SEN Teachers to join our New Options Primary School - Bower Lodge in Dibden, Southampton due to open in September 2024.

About the role

As an SEN Teacher you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupils’ achievement and ability to develop.

This is a great opportunity for a SEN Teacher who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

A passion and experience of working within a SEN/ASC environment is essential. You will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential.

Qualifications: QTS or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills and Nationally recognised degree. 

About us

Our New Options Primary School - Bower Lodge located in Dibden, Southampton. The school will have capacity for 40 pupils and is due to open in September 2024.
