Become a Pastoral Manager at our new Options Autism School - Brinksway School part of Options Autism and start working towards yours.
- Salary: up to £30,000 per annum
- Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
- Hours: 37.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Our new Options Autism School - Brinksway School will be in Stockport. The school will have capacity for 55 pupils and is due to open in September 2024.
Brinksway School is going to be a Primary and Secondary Special Educational Needs School for pupils with Autism.
Job Purpose
To support the Leadership Team to establish effective strategies in all areas of pastoral care. To develop and implement long-term behaviour plans that will guide staff to support students to overcome barriers to learning and maximise the opportunities provided for them. Working under the direction of the Head Teacher and therapy team to provide support to all students in enabling them to achieve their potential both academically and socially.
Essential experience
- Experience of work within an education setting
- Knowledge of Ofsted Regulations and Standards
- Pastoral management experience in a care setting or the special educational needs sector
- Experience of driving and advising on best practice in relation to positive behaviour support
