Options Autism are hiring Adult Support Workers in the Birmingham region.
Role: Adult Support Worker
Salary: £22,425 per annum
Location: Kingstanding, Birmingham
Contract: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week, various shift patterns - flexibility with changing shift patterns essential)
Essential: Right to work in the UK required ( UK applicants only - Sponsorship not offered)

The Opportunity
Our next Adult Support Worker will be someone who has:
- Experience not essential
- Driving would be beneficial but not essential
- Experience administering medication if possible
- Experience shift leading
- Excellent communication skills
- A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives.
- Patience, resilience, and calmness.
Some of your duties would include:
- Creating fun and fulfilling days with occupants to enjoy and explore their hobbies.
- Supporting individuals to develop independent life skills
- Safeguarding of occupants at all times
- Assisting and transporting occupants to activities and hobbies
- Accurate record keeping
About us:
Respite Breaks Group provides education day services and a small respite break home for autistic adults or adults with learning difficulties and physical disabilities. They support people at 14 sites across the Midlands and are currently working with around 140 young adults.
For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to children, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
