Job Title: Caretaker / Facilities Coordinator
Location: Papworth Hall School, Cambridgeshire
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

We are looking for a Caretaker / Facilities Coordinator to join our brand-new team at our New Options School - Papworth Hall.
As the Caretaker / Facilities Coordinator you will contribute to the growth and development of our New Options School - Papworth Hall and will lead on the delivery of providing a warm, safe, and secure environment in which all learners are able to thrive.
This is a great opportunity for a Caretaker / Facilities Coordinator who wants to influence the outcomes for students with autism and various complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in as many decisions as possible.
Quality is always top of our agenda, and we pride ourselves on the quality of what we do. We are looking for a Caretaker / Facilities Coordinator who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.
The successful candidate must have site experience, along with knowledge of building regulations and health and safety policies and procedures. You will be able to respond to emergency situations in a calm and rational manner and be able to work as part of a team and independently.
Must have a full UK Driving Licence!
About us
Our New Options School - Papworth Hall is located in the picturesque village in Cambridgeshire. It is within close proximity to Huntingdon and Cambridge. Our new specialist school will cater for young people with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and motional needs and has the capacity for circa 30 students.
For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes First Group we are leading our sector in setting and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in our care.
