Full Job Description

Job Title:         Thrive Lead Practitioner

Location:         Bramfield House School, Halesworth

Salary:             £24,000 - £30,000 Per annum

Bonus:             This role comes with a £1000 bonus!

£500 bonus after completion of your probation period and a further £500 bonus upon completion of your first year with the school

Hours:             37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday

Contract:         Permanent

Are you a Thrive Lead Practitioner committed to improving the lives of children and young people?  We are looking for an experienced Thrive Lead Practitioner to join our fantastic team at Bramfield House School, Halesworth.

Bramfield House School is an independent residential special educational needs school for boys aged 7 – 16 years who have social, emotional, mental health, communication difficulties and associated challenging behaviours, located in rural Suffolk. About the role

Under the instruction of the Senior Leadership Team (typically Assistant Head teacher behaviour and intervention) to work with the Pastoral team, Teachers, youth coaches, parents, pupils and outside agencies to develop the Thrive Approach ethos across the whole school and within families.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing positive relationships with the children they have worked with. They will be able to demonstrate how and when they have had a significant impact on children's emotional development. Evidence of Thrive qualification and ongoing training should be evident at interview.

You will support in the day to day running of a THRIVE provision to support the development, social, emotional and behavioural needs of pupils improving their active engagement in their social and academic environments and access to learning.

Essential Qualifications

  • Up to date training relevant to post
  • GCSE pass above C (or 4 in the new GCSE system) in English and Maths
