Full Job Description
Job title: Nurture Co-ordinator (Key Stage 5)
Location: Reddish Hall School, Stockport, Greater Manchester
Salary: £20,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Due to the growth and development of the school, we have an exciting opportunity for a new role within Reddish Hall to work with our Year 12 & 13 Nurture students. Do you want a new challenge helping students on their way to the next step after Reddish Hall? This may be the role for you!
About the role
This role involves working with and leading a small group of Year 12 and 13 students who have been part of the Nurture Pathway provision at Reddish Hall. These pupils are spending a further year with us to develop their numeracy, literacy and computing skills through to functional skills level 1, and developing their independence, life and social skills through college placements, work experience, enterprise and independent travel.
The successful applicant will be the key person in co-ordinating and working with these lovely young adults, aiming to increase their confidence and help prepare them for transition to college, employment or an apprenticeship. As this is a new role, it is likely to develop as the year goes on. KS5 is an area for growth and development for the school.
