Acorn Education are currently hiring Residential Childcare Workers in Hampshire

Role: Residential Childcare Worker

Salary:  £26,409.91 per annum

Hours: Full-time, Permanent (42 hours a week, various shifts)

Location: Hayling Island, Hampshire

Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle

The Opportunity

Our next Residential Childcare Worker will be someone who has: 

  •  Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle 
  • A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives.
  • Patience, resilience, and calmness.

Some of your duties would be as follows

  • Supporting young people to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out
  • Completing relevant paperwork
  • Undertaking household tasks
  • Engage our young people in tasks and activities

Acorn Education, part of the Outcomes First Group, are recruiting Childcare Workers to join our teams within the Hampshire region. 

Our registered accommodation offers support for vulnerable young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.

Our accommodation is based in the Hayling Island area and are commutable from Portsmouth, Havant, Waterlooville and surrounding towns and villages.

We are friendly and fun, and though there are challenges too, everything we do is dedicated to creating rewarding experiences – for those we look after and for everyone in our team!
