Job Title: Administrator
Location: Wessex Lodge School, Frome
Salary: £19,233.75 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term time only
Due to growth in service, we are looking for an experienced Administrator to join our fantastic team at Wessex Lodge School.
About the role
To be an ambassador for Education when meeting parents/staff and other visitors and to act as a first point of reference and to provide administrative support, including collating and reporting data, updating documents, filing and related tasks.
To support the Senior leadership team with administrative tasks.
To support the complete education administrative process from enrolment to transferring out.
Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of Education and meeting the needs of the pupils and staff.
Be aware of and support difference and ensure equal opportunities for all.
To support the School Business Manager in the process of recruitment and selection and liaising with HR direct.
To support the School Business Manager with administrative tasks where required.
To ensure the reception/school office area is kept tidy and respectable.

About us - Wessex Lodge School is growing!
Wessex Lodge School currently comprises of two sites: Wessex Lodge School located in Frome, and Newmead Farm, located in Maiden Bradley. Both sites allow students the opportunity to explore the curriculum alongside a range of subject paths, including the likes of, animal care, horticulture, DT, and forest school, as well as sporting activities.
Our students are aged between 8 and 18 years old. Each student has individual needs and, supported by the THRIVE approach, through a proven range of practitioner-led services and our talented staff, we can help to improve life outcomes for every student.
The established staff team come from a variety of previous occupations and have a vast range of individual skills, which can be utilised, within this school. So, if you have an interest and/or qualifications in animal care, horticulture, construction, outdoor education, forestry or any other specific trade or hobby, we would love to hear from you!
