Acorn Education are hiring a Senior Care Practitioner in Whitchurch!

Role: Senior Care Practitioner

Salary: Up to £30,153.60 per annum inclusive of 8 sleep-in payments per month

Hours: Full-time, Permanent

Essential: A full driving licence, and the Right to Work in the UK

Acorn Education are recruiting Childcare Practitioners to join our teams within the Shropshire area. 

Marhaba, as a registered independent accommodation, offering support for vulnerable young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.

The accommodation is based in the Whitchurch regionand are within commutable distance from Nantwich, Telford, Shrewsbury, Shifnal and surrounding towns and villages.

Our next Senior Care Practitioner will be someone who has: 

  • Mandatory: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • At least 1 year’s hands on experience in a similar residential environment.
  • A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives.
  • Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging.
  • Patience, resilience, and calmness.
  • Become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs.
  • Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care.
