Job title: SENCO Administrator
Location: The Grange Therapeutic School, Knossington, Oakham
Salary: £14,773.75 per annum
Hours: 26.5 hours per week, Monday 12.30-4.30, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 8.30-4.30
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

As part of our continued growth in service, we are looking for SENCO Administrator to join our team at The Grange Therapeutic School, part of Acorn Education
About the role
The SENCo Administrator, under the direction of the SENCo and Headteacher, will:
- Support the SENCo with administration and organisation of appointments, provision and interventions.
- Support the strategic development of special educational needs (SEN) policy and provision in the school.
- Responsibility for day-to-day operation of the SEN policy and co-ordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEN or a disability.
- Support the SENCo with the strategic overview of provision for pupils with SEN or a disability across the school, monitoring and reviewing the quality of provision.
- Evaluate whether funding is being used effectively and propose changes to make use of funding more effective.

About the School
The Grange Therapeutic School is an independent special school for young people aged 8 -18 years with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Our school is based in a Victorian country house near Oakham with stunning views and fantastic facilities to develop not only the educational, but also the social and emotional needs of our pupils. With access to woods and lakes on site, the school has an ethos about delivering a personalised curriculum tailored to, and driven by, the individuals. Behaviour is currently rated as “Outstanding” by Ofsted.
