About the role

The Learning Outside the Classroom Support Worker supports the delivery of the Learning Outside the Classroom curriculum and off-site educational activities at Reddish Hall School. • Facilitate a range of physical and outdoor activities across all seasons and weather conditions.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of small-group or 1:1 intervention sessions using outdoor learning approaches (e.g., Forest School or therapeutic activities), aimed at supporting pupils with specific SEMH, behavioural, or social needs.
  • Monitor and record pupil engagement, progress, and outcomes.
  • Maintain and organise outdoor education equipment and resources

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes/qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for the outdoors and for supporting vulnerable young people

  • Ability to engage and build trust with pupils through communication, consistency, and empathy.
