Full Job Description

How would you like to get paid for five days, but only work four?

At Outcomes First Group, we believe in better work/life balance — and we’re putting wellbeing first.

That’s why we’re proud to be part of a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours), while still receiving your full-time pay.

Many of our schools have already introduced the 4DWW — and others are preparing to roll it out as soon as they reach full staffing. So whether it’s already in place or just around the corner, now’s the perfect time to join #teamOFG.

About the Role

This is an exciting and vital new role, ideal for a qualified teacher who is motivated by making a real difference in the lives of young people. As Outreach and Reintegration Lead, you will support students who have been out of education for extended periods, or who find accessing a college environment particularly challenging due to anxiety or other emotional needs.

  • Design and implement personalised reintegration plans
  • Act as a bridge between home and college, supporting a phased return to education
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to each learner’s development

This is a highly rewarding role that requires resilience, creativity, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
  • Has experience working with students who have been excluded or disengaged from education
  • Understands the impact of trauma, anxiety and SEND on learning
  • Has outstanding communication skills and can build rapport quickly
  • Is passionate about helping young people achieve their potential, no matter the barriers they’ve faced
  • Thrives working both independently and as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team

We would love to hear from you! If you'd like to visit the college or have an informal conversation about the role, please contact Sharron Humphrey, Head of Heath Farm College, at: sharron.humphrey@heathfarmschool.org
