- Up to £25,000 per annum dependent on experience (not pro rata)
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm including 1 x 5pm finish
- Permanent, Term Time Only
- October 2025 Start
Bricklehurst Manor School is a brand-new school that will cater for up to 60 pupils with SEMH and associated needs. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who wants involvement in the set up and development of a brand-new school setting and is inspired to support within special educational needs settings.
This school is based in Stonegate, East Sussex.

The opportunity
Are you passionate about education and making a lasting impact? Join our dedicated Pastoral Support Team and help transform our school into a nurturing, high-quality specialist provision for pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs—including those diagnosed with autism or exhibiting related behaviours.
As a valued team member, you will:
- Provide outstanding pastoral care, creating a safe and supportive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
- Support pupils with varying needs, especially those requiring behaviour management to overcome barriers to learning.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, therapy teams, outreach agencies, and other schools to ensure every pupil’s continuity, progress, and wellbeing.
- Uphold safeguarding as your top priority, ensuring the welfare of every young person in our care.
What We're Looking For
- GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to supporting vulnerable pupils
- Commitment to promoting positive behaviour and personal development
You will work under the direction of the Headteacher, playing a vital role in making our classrooms supportive, enriching spaces where young people achieve more than they ever thought possible.

*You’ll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay, giving you more time to do the things that make you happy. 4DWW is subject to successful completion of probation and is not a contractual benefit
