Job Title: Bank Teaching Assistant
Location: Lamledge School, Shifnal, TF11 8SD
Salary: £13.25 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday - Flexible hours
Contract: Bank, Term Time Only
Start: January 2026

About the Role
This isn’t just about classroom support — it’s about empowering pupils to believe in themselves. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll:
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs to achieve their full potential
- Help teachers plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons
- Prepare learning materials and provide one-to-one or small group support
- Celebrate achievements and help pupils build confidence, resilience, and independence
- Be a caring, consistent presence — guiding pupils through challenges and celebrating progress
Each day will bring something new. From classroom learning to outdoor adventures, you’ll help pupils discover what they’re capable of in a supportive, nurturing environment.

About Us
Lamledge School provides specialist education to pupils with social, emotional and behaviour difficulties. We are within a commutable distance of Telford, Dudley, Stourbridge, Shrewsbury, Stone, Walsall, Wolverhampton and surrounding towns. We are looking to expand our staff team and we hope that we can find the perfect person to join the Lamledge team.
We are a small school on the outskirts of Shifnal with stunning grounds and rolling countryside surrounding us. Our staff are dedicated to delivering education in a therapeutic and trauma informed way.
