- Provide structured staff supervision, contribute to performance management, and identify training needs to promote high‑quality pastoral care.
- Oversee daily pastoral systems including rotas, rewards, behaviour tracking, record‑keeping and end‑of‑day briefings.
- Deliver training on pupil needs and behaviour trends, and support individual young people throughout the school day, including during times of crisis.
- Run community projects and on‑site work experience, contribute to policy development, and take an active role in school meetings.
What you'll bring
- Driving licence is required
- A strong sense of accountability, keeping the Head of Education and Headteacher fully informed about all pastoral and day‑to‑day care matters.
- Personal responsibility for your own professional development, ensuring you stay current with best practice and emerging issues in pastoral care.

- A proactive, reflective approach that uses feedback, data and supervision to improve practice and strengthen support for young people.
