Job Title:  PSHE Lead
Location:  3 Dimensions School, Chard, Somerset, TA20 3AJ
Hours:       30 hours per week | Monday–Friday 
Salary:      £25,500 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract:  Permanent | Term Time Only
Start:         September 2026

About the Role

Are you passionate about helping children and young people grow into confident, emotionally literate and independent adults? Do you believe in the power of high‑quality PSHE to transform lives — especially for pupils with complex SEN needs?

At 3 Dimensions School, we’re looking for a PSHE Lead who can shape a meaningful, inclusive curriculum that supports pupils from primary through post‑16. This is your chance to make a real difference across two nurturing, trauma‑informed sites.

Please note this role will be supporting both 3 Dimensions School sites; Chardleigh (Primary) TA20 3AJ & Hummingbird TA20 1PB.

What You’ll Do

  • A whole‑school PSHE vision that is progressive, accessible and aligned with the updated 2026 PSHE/RSHE framework
  • Curriculum development that supports ASD, SEMH and trauma‑related needs
  • Key themes including mental health, relationships, online safety, independence and preparation for adulthood
  • Staff development, modelling best practice and supporting high‑quality delivery
  • Assessment that captures small‑step progress and celebrates real‑life impact

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Strong experience & understanding of PSHE/RSHE principles
  • The ability to adapt content creatively for a wide range of developmental needs
  • Excellent communication, organisation and a passion for inclusion
  • Driving licence required
