Job Title: Primary SEN Teacher
Location: Willow Park School, Milton Keynes, MK14 6LJ
Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday | 8am - 4pm
Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: September 2026

About the Role
Some children need more than a classroom. They need a fresh start. Willow Park School is seeking an exceptional Primary SEN Teacher to lead a small nurture class for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and a range of additional needs. This is an opportunity to help shape a highly personalised, therapeutically supported provision where children rebuild confidence, develop essential skills and rediscover success.
The Role You will:
- Teach a small class of pupils requiring a primary-style curriculum.
- Deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Support pupils to make academic, social and emotional progress.
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, the SENCo, Clinical Team and Inclusion Team.
- Build strong relationships that promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Has experience in SEN, SEMH, alternative provision or nurture settings.
- Is calm, patient and emotionally resilient.
- Combines warmth with high expectations.
- Believes every child deserves the opportunity to succeed.
