Job Title: Domestic Assistant
Location: Wetheringsett Manor, Suffolk, IP14 5QX
Hours:     15 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 3hrs per day 4pm - 7pm
Salary:     £9,756.25 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start:        September 2026

We’re looking for a responsible, caring and motivated Domestic Assistant to join our fantastic team at Wetheringsett Manor School — a growing SEMH school set in 17 acres of beautiful Suffolk parkland. What You’ll Do

You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across designated areas of the school, working under the guidance of our Domestic Supervisor and alongside a friendly, growing domestic team.

  • Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
  • Rubbish removal and general cleaning
  • Ensuring all areas are well presented and safe
  • Following school policies for reporting and recording
  • Supporting a positive, caring environment where children can develop independence

We’ll provide all equipment and clothing, and working hours are negotiable as long as weekly hours are completed.
