Salary:     £22,160.62 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours:      37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

What you'll do

This is far more than a classroom support role. As a Teaching Assistant at Riseley Green School, you will become a key figure in a pupil’s day — someone who helps them regulate, engage and believe in themselves again.

You will:

• Support learning in the classroom and during off‑site activities
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who need consistency
• Use trauma‑informed strategies to support emotional regulation
• Adapt learning to meet individual EHCP outcomes
• Work closely with teachers, therapists and the Inclusion Team
• Record progress, behaviour and safeguarding concerns accurately
• Promote independence, confidence and a sense of belonging

Riseley Green School is an independent specialist school near Reading, Berkshire, for autistic young people aged 4–16, with a capacity of 60 pupils.

We provide a nurturing, structured environment tailored to each child’s needs, fostering academic, social, and emotional growth.
