Location: Trent Acres, Kings Bromley, DE13 7HR
Hours:      40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.00am – 4.00pm
Salary:      £23,638.00 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract:  Permanent | Term Time Only
Start:         September 2026

Working with pupils with Autism and additional needs, you'll help young people overcome barriers, celebrate achievements and develop the confidence and independence they need to succeed both in school and beyond.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping them achieve their individual goals.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging, creative and personalised learning experiences.
  • Help pupils develop communication, social, emotional and life skills.
  • Prepare learning resources and create positive, stimulating learning environments.
  • Promote confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing every day.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues to provide consistent support.
  • Support learning both inside and outside the classroom, including enrichment activities and educational visits.
  • Observe progress and contribute to pupil development through effective communication with the wider team.
