Job Title: Creative Arts and Textiles Tutor
Location: Syon Manor College, Isleworth, London, TW7 5AJ
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday |8.30am - 4.30pm
Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: September 2026

We’re looking for a dynamic Creative Arts & Textiles Tutor who can deliver exciting, practical and forward‑thinking learning experiences. You’ll help students explore everything from textiles and graphics to smart materials, CAD/CAM, photography, animation and more — all while developing your own skills along the way.
What you will be doing
- Design and deliver a vibrant curriculum full of practical, engaging and varied techniques
- Inspire students through hands‑on sessions, small‑group teaching and personalised learning
- Support young people as they prepare for creative, practical and supported‑internship pathways
- Monitor progress, celebrate achievements and help students grow in confidence and independence
- Work collaboratively with a passionate team to develop subject knowledge and best practice
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment where creativity can thrive
- Contribute to individual education plans, behaviour plans and holistic student support
- Promote positive behaviour, self‑regulation and personal development
- Communicate effectively with care staff, colleagues and stakeholders to ensure consistency
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, wellbeing and professional practice

Syon Manor College is an independent provider of high-quality learning and skills for young people with autism and complex needs aged 16–25. Operating across three London sites—Isleworth, Hillingdon, and Uxbridge—the college delivers personalised education and support in an autism-specific environment. Our broad curriculum includes academic, vocational, and life skills learning, with BTECs, GCSEs, Functional Skills, ASDAN, Employability and Independence programmes, and Duke of Edinburgh awards.
