Job Title: School Cleaner
Location: Meadows View School, Stamford, Lincolnshire, PE9 2JL
Hours: 15 hours per week | Monday–Friday | 2pm - 5pm
Salary: £8,864.25 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: September 2026

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to play an important role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment where pupils can learn and thrive.
As a valued member of our school community, you'll help ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest standards, contributing directly to the wellbeing of our pupils, staff and visitors.
What you will be doing
- Keeping classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets and communal areas clean, tidy and presentable.
- Carrying out daily cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing and sanitising surfaces.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely and efficiently.
- Replenishing essential supplies such as soap, toilet rolls and paper towels.
- Reporting any maintenance issues, damages or health and safety concerns.
- Monitoring cleaning stock levels and informing management when supplies need replenishing.
- Following all health and safety procedures and cleaning standards.
- Taking pride in maintaining a welcoming environment and using your initiative to support the wider school team.

- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.

Our New Options Autism School - Meadows View School will cater for young people aged 5-11 with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning needs.
For over 19 years, Options Autism has provided specialist care and education for children, young people, and adults with autism, complex needs, and learning difficulties.
