Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Manor House School, Slinfold, Horsham, RH13 0QX
Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: October 2026

What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and within the classroom environment.
- Helping to deliver engaging, personalised learning tailored to individual needs.
- Building positive, trusting relationships that enable pupils to flourish.
- Supporting emotional regulation, communication skills and social development.
- Encouraging independence, confidence and a love of learning.Working closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals to support pupil progress.
- Promoting positive behaviour through consistent, nurturing approaches.
- Contributing to a safe, inclusive and supportive school environment.
What you will bring
You don't need extensive SEN experience to join us. What matters most is your attitude, values and commitment to making a difference.
- Has GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English and Maths required.
- Is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.
- Brings patience, empathy, resilience and a positive outlook.
- Can build strong relationships and inspire trust and confidence.
- Is a team player with excellent communication skills.
- Shares our commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
- Full driving licence required
