Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

JOB PURPOSE: 

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver a portfolio of strategic business change initiatives within a growing, multi-site organisation.

This role sits within a central transformation function and will be responsible for driving end-to-end project delivery across a range of operational and business-critical programmes. You will work across multiple stakeholders, leading cross-functional teams to deliver change that improves performance, efficiency and long-term organisational capability.

This is a hands-on role requiring both strong delivery discipline and the ability to engage, influence and drive adoption across a diverse stakeholder group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

          Project Delivery

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of business change projects, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines and deliverables
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budge

    Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and operational teams
  • Provide clear and consistent communication on project progress, risks and outcomes
  • Drive engagement and alignment across multiple business areas

    Change Management

  • Develop and implement structured change and adoption plans
  • Support end users through transition, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  • Embed sustainable change across the organisation

    Business Improvement

  • Work closely with internal teams to define business requirements
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

    Risk & Governance

  • Proactively manage project risks and issues
  • Maintain key project documentation (e.g. RAID logs, status reports, business cases)
  • Ensure appropriate governance and reporting is in place

    Team Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional project teams, both on-site and remote
  • Ensure clarity of roles, accountability and delivery focus

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential Experience:

  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end business change or transformation projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leaders
  • Experience managing project budgets, timelines and resources
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change adoption within operational environments
  • Experience working with structured project methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage risk and complexity
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience working in a regulated or multi-site environment
  • Exposure to systems or technology-enabled change programmes
  • Formal project management or change management certification
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers or external partners
