Job Title: L&D Content Creator 
Location: Home (Remote – UK Based) 
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday 
Salary: Between £35,000 - £39,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications) 
Contract: 12 Month FTC | Full Time

About the Role

Creating best in-class content across a variety of platforms and formats, resulting in measurable improvement in learning outcomes. Place customer needs at the heart of the role, delivering exceptional customer service and experiences.  Maintain consistently high levels of performance across the L&D environment for all colleagues and customers

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and develop engaging learning content, including e-learning modules, videos, facilitator guides, job aids, and microlearning assets
  • Translate complex information into clear, concise, and learner-friendly content
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather, validate, and structure content
  • Apply instructional design principles to create effective, learner-centred experiences
  • Create scripts, storyboards, and visual concepts for digital and blended learning solutions
  • Produce and edit multimedia content (e.g., video, audio, graphics) using appropriate tools
  • Ensure all learning materials align with organisational branding, tone of voice, and accessibility standards
  • Manage multiple content projects simultaneously, delivering outputs in line with agreed timelines and requirements
  • Review and update existing learning content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and learners to continuously improve content quality
  • Work closely with LD&T colleagues, designers, and stakeholders to support the rollout of learning programmes
  • Upload and maintain content within the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring a smooth learner experience
  • Maintain documentation and cataloguing in line with L&D Content team processes
  • Work collaboratively with other L&D Content Creators and the wider L,D&T Team.

Essential experience & skills 

  • Experience creating learning content (including eLearning, video, audio, virtual/classroom live delivery, webinars and podcasts).
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and design tools (including Articulate Storyline, Rise, Envato, Vyond, Synthesia, and Camtasia)
  • Experience in the use of Learning Management Systems, and the upload/manipulation of data including SCORM and other formats
  • Ability to design assessments and evaluation methods
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Experienced L&D practitioner, embracing instructional design principles (e.g., ADDIE, adult learning theory)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service
  • Professional, proactive and self-motivated

Desirable

  • Education and or care sector experience
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
